Michael E. Broady is a decorated combat Veteran, national‑level facilitator, and the creator of the Tour of Duty Experience™. With more than five decades of combined military and federal service, he has dedicated his life to helping Americans reconnect to the meaning of service, identity, and purpose.
A Life of Service & Military Leadership
Michael served 34 years on active duty in the United States Army, rising to the rank of Command Sergeant Major. His career includes assignments in the 75th Ranger Regiment, Special Forces, and other elite Special Operations units, where he led, trained, and developed Soldiers across the full spectrum of military operations. His operational & combat deployments span multiple regions across Central & South America, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East, reflecting extensive experience in diverse international environments.
Throughout his career, Michael became known for his ability to build cohesive teams, develop leaders, and create environments where people feel valued, connected, and committed to a shared mission.
Following his military retirement, Michael continued his service for another 19 years as a federal civilian, culminating in two national‑level leadership roles:
